Web20 dec. 2024 · In 1946, Maida Barracks became the Depot for the Parachute Regiment where it remained for 22 years before moving to Browning Barracks Aldershot in 1968. The buildings at Maida Barracks were demolished in 1971, with the exception of the Smith Dorrien House and Maida Gymnasium, which date from 1893 and 1908 respectively.
