I would not even remotely consider having one milled to provide clearance for a loading gate. Instead, I'd use one of the drop in cylinders.

Web4 okt. 2024 · I have a 38 colt cylinder for a 1863 Remington and a 44 colts cylinder for my 58. The 44 colts uses a heeled bullet in a cut down 44 special case and is very accurate. Both ate kirst cylinders. I recently loaded the 38 with heeled 150 grain bullets over 18 grain equivalent of American Pioneer Powder. Accuracy was non existant. Web26 feb. 2012 · 5,855. Location. They say to limit to low power loads and listed 850 FPS and 12000 PSI, but all things I have read PSI shows slightly higher than CUP the powder manufacturers list. Does not take much to blow one up. 14k is the max limit on standard pressure loads. Cowboy loads will use lead bullets.
