Grammar book recommendation
WebI may be old, but the two titans of grammar books for me are: The Harbrace College Handbook by John C. Hodges. The Elements of Style by Strunk and White. As a college student, you may have already been assigned one or both. The Hodges book was indispensable to me in college as a guide to both APA and MLA styles. WebI'd highly recommend Portuguese: An Essential Grammar (Routledge Essential Grammars) by Amélia Hutchinson, Janet Lloyd, and Cristina Sousa. I have the 2024 edition and even though it might look a bit daunting to someone just starting out in the language, it's the kind of book that you can turn to anytime throughout your language learning journey.
