The dubs voice for Misato sounded really odd for me. And in general, the dub acting sounded pretty bad compared to more modern shows like Code Geass and Death Note. I will be watching the show sub for a few other reasons, the main one being that the movies are currently only in sub.

The English voice actors of Ryuk and Light do such a good job that I can't watch Death Note without hearing them.

WebAnime. Sub and it's not even close, some of the best voice acting ever. I really like the dub, but go with the sub for this one. Masterclass voice acting. Sub. Preferences for acting aside, the dub script for the first season at least has a few issues which introduces at least one plot hole and also mixes up some details. WebPersonally I'll always opt for the sub, but having the dub is cool, adds another way to experience it and let's more people enjoy it. That said, I do hope people give the games a go regardless of the inclusion of a dub. Feels a bit silly to completely ignore something just because it's only available in the native language with subtitles.
