Allard intercooler
WebMar 12, 2011 · 1 Location: . Hey all After rumaging through my dads shed, I came across an intercooler, I've asked my dad and it's an Allard one, but it's designed to fit onto a TD engine. Its not a huge one, about twice the size of a standard 200tdi one, and it goes inbetween the slam panel bars. WebDec 18, 2012 · The intercooler lives under that support bar, between the A/C condensor & the Radiator. (Same issue when I cleaned out my intercooler when I fitted the provent- by the way- this time there was NO, none , nada , zilch oil in my intercooler, The Provent really is worth having.)

I have no issue unless the air temperature is circa 25 degC or above, I am towing a heavy load up a big hill or I am doing 80 mph on the motorway. The Intercooler it almost as big as the rad. When on turbo boost the heat impacts on the radiator.

WebJan 2, 2008 · The thing tough is that the IC Stingray posted would flow more even without the 90 degree bends. The pictures he posted do show some flaws in the design of Allards ICs. That dosnt meand Allard dont know what teyre doing. Sometimes you need to make compromises. Thats just how things goes.
